Several coastal ecologists will teach a distributed graduate course on Foundation Species Change in Coastal Habitats, starting Aug. 23. Anyone with a good internet connection can take this course, which will be taught live over the internet. The course will consist of a one-hour lecture each Friday afternoon this fall, taught by leading researchers on the topic. To view the syllabus and sign up for future announcements, go to https://foundationspecieschange.home.blog/. Subscribe to the blog to receive future updates. Managers are welcome to sit in, and we’re also happy to have anyone formally host the course at their university: just contact Steve Pennings (University of Houston) to get added to the syllabus.
