Georgia Sea Grant State Fellowships

Apply by July 15: Georgia Sea Grant is accepting applications for the Georgia Sea Grant State Fellowship, which provides a unique educational and professional opportunity to eligible graduate students who are interested in coastal and marine resources in Georgia and the policy and management decisions affecting those resources. The State Fellowship Program is designed to provide recent graduates an opportunity to acquire on the job experience in planning and implementation of coastal policies and programs. 

Five fellows will be selected to work with the following partners in 2022-2023:

  • Sapelo Island National Estuarine Research Reserve/Sapelo Island Cultural & Revitalization Society
  • Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary
  • Jekyll Island Authority
  • Georgia Audubon
  • Springfield Legacy Foundation
