Staff Scientist at Gulf Shellfish Institute

Apply by Jan. 31: Staff Scientist Position in Shellfish Aquaculture Research (Tampa Bay, USA): The Gulf Shellfish Institute, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is seeking a highly motivated marine scientist to assist in our shellfish aquaculture research efforts. The position will assist the Executive Director in carrying out applied aquaculture research and other assigned duties.

Applications are encouraged from candidates with a M.S. in marine science (or related discipline) and a strong background in scientific research, experimental design, field work, and scientific writing. Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with bivalves and seagrass. This position is available for one year, but could be extended depending upon funding.
