The Southeastern Estuarine Research Society (SEERS) is offering several travel awards to qualifying students who are presenting at the upcoming CERF meeting this fall. The amount of the award is $500, and the number of awards distributed will depend on the applications received with up to 4 awards given out. To be qualified, students must have a current membership to SEERS. Priority will be given to students who have not won an award in the past two years and those that have documented financial need. Only one award can be granted per meeting presentation/abstract. To be considered for a student travel award, please answer the following questions about your eligibility COMPLETELY, HONESTLY, and ON TIME. Failure to meet these criteria will disqualify you from receiving a student travel award.

The deadline for the Fall 2025 CERF meeting Student Travel Award application form to be submitted is 5:00 PM on Monday, July 7th! If you have any problems completing this form, please email Dr. Loren Mathews at presidentelect@seers.org.
