Call for Nominations to SEERS Governing Board

The SEERS Governing Board will have two open positions for the 2020-2022 term: President-elect and Program Chair. Nominations are due February 1, 2020. Self-nomination is encouraged and terms will begin at the Spring 2020 meeting. Please email Past President Erik Smith erik@belle.baruch.sc.edu with nominations or questions.

The President-elect works closely with the President and chairs the Student Promotion Committee. This is a 6-year commitment: 2 years as President-elect, 2 years as President, and 2 years as Past President.

The Program Chair is responsible for the scientific programs of our semi-annual meetings and implementing the Society policy with respect to meeting conduct and content. This is a 2-year commitment to plan 3 meetings, since the biennial CERF meeting preempts our fall meeting every 2 years.
